As the national and global crisis surrounding coronavirus continues to evolve, The COASC is committed to continuing to provide orthopaedic care to our community with the utmost attention to safety for our patients and staff. We continue to monitor updates and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and the Virginia Department of Health.
There are things our patients can do to help. If you are sick, please reschedule your appointment. If you are coming to the surgery center please do not bring children and limit any additional adults to one per patient.
We will be implementing additional protocols to enhance safety by the use of social distancing.
If you have an appointment scheduled with us in the coming weeks, please expect communication from us. Above all we ask that you take this outbreak seriously and adhere to the calls for social distancing and hand washing hygiene that will ultimately save lives.
The COASC is not able to provide coronavirus testing and we would direct you to your primary care provider or other health care facility as needed to address this if you are concerned.
